On July 2, Danfoss Drives Beijing R&D Center celebrated its 20th anniversary. Mika Kulju, Global President of Danfoss Drives and Power Electronics Division, and Kern Jain, Head of Finance, Tuuli Sarvilinna, President of Danfoss Group’s Specialty and Light Industrial Drives Business, Xu Yang, President of Danfoss China and Head of Danfoss Drives China, Lennart Lund, Head of Light Industrial and Compact Drives Production Line, and relevant leaders of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the China National Standards Committee gathered in Danfoss’ Beijing office to celebrate this milestone with team members. The celebration was hosted by Sun Dianchao, Senior Director of Global R&D at Danfoss Drives and Head of Beijing R&D Center.
Danfoss Drives Beijing R&D Center was established in 2005. It focuses on the research and development of high-performance and cost-effective compact special-purpose inverters. It has developed many inverter products for the global market, the Chinese market and customized products. The products are widely used in textile, food and beverage, HVAC, water treatment, logistics, electronics and other industries, especially in the current high-growth industries such as building energy-saving transformation, electronic manufacturing, data centers, etc. The market prospects are particularly broad.
